“This dude reminds me of that movie….”She Must Be Obeyed”. Oju Aiye Sha”.
Replying him, Davido shared screenshots of his credit alert to his foundation, which would be disbursing the donation to Orphanages.
He stated that more details about his donation would be coming soon.
“Foundation account credited. More details to follow soon”, he tweeted.
This isn’t the first time Davido is making a huge donation to the Orphanage.
Last two years, Davido had given to charity the N250 million he received from his friends and fans all over the world to celebrate his birthday.
The singer had sent out a video message to his friends and colleagues to send him money and he was able to amass over N100 million, which later grew to N200 million over a few days. He also added a personal donation of N50 million to make it N250 million.
The singer disbursed the money to orphanages and less privileged homes, and in 2023, he showed his fans and followers how the money contributed to him for his birthday had been disbursed to orphanage homes.
Last year, Davido had bragged about spending over two hundred million naira on orphanages across Nigeria, as he noted how he uses his platform to serve others.
The singer noted that his foundation, David Adeleke Foundation, had disbursed two hundred and thirty-seven million naira (237, 000,000) to benefit the less privileged.
Still on his assistance to the less privileged, Davido gave out a scholarship to a Ghanaian college dropout, who scored A parallel in his WAEC.
The young lad identified as Young Morro Suleyman had made A1 in all his West African Examinations Council (WAEC) exam subjects but unfortunately, he couldn’t proceed to University as he had been at home since 2021.
Reacting to the news, Davido launched a search for him, and when he found him, he gifted him a full 4/5 scholarship to Adeleke University, with accommodation and allowance.
