A social media user has slammed Nigerian celebrity couple, Adekunle Gold and Simi over their constant display on social media.
The couple had shared a video of themselves vibing to and promoting Adekunle Gold’s new song, which a netizen didn’t find amusing.
Taking to the comment section of blogger, Tunde Ednut, he slammed the couple for constantly flaunting themselves online as if they’re the only celebrity couple in the world.
He stated that it was more unwise for them to be displaying romantic acts publicly forgetting that people are envious of the couple. He noted how social media marriage doesn’t last as he admonished the couple to stop pressuring single fans.
“Adekunle Gold and wife flaunting themselves online as if you’re the only celeb couple in the world is unwise. More unwise is displaying romantic acts publicly forgetting it should be private as people may be jealous. Social media marriage doesn’t last. They’d avoid pressuring single fans and he wise not unwise”.
Adekunle Gold got married to Simi in 2019 and they welcomed their first child, a baby girl named Deja in 2020.
A few weeks back, the couple celebrated their 5th wedding anniversary with the release of their music video.
The lovebirds took time to reminisce about the time they spent together for five years. The couple expressed how happy they are that their union is thriving.
In a recent interview, Simi revealed why couples should cohabit together before marriage.
Using herself as an example, Simi disclosed that she lived with her husband, Adekunle Gold before they got married and it helped them know each other better before deciding to tie the knot. She added that you can never know your partner’s behavior if you don’t spend time with them.
Elsewhere in the interview, she said she never intended to marry a musician as she narrated how she met her husband, who she never knew was a singer.
In other news, Adekunle Gold had made a public appeal to his fans and lovers as he set to release new music.
Taking to the micro-blogging platform X, he revealed that he and his wife are dropping new songs and would need the public to stream them.
Adekunle noted how he needs to pay his daughter’s school fees and as such, he badly needs them to stream their song.
