Yoruba Nollywood actress Biodun Okeowo otherwise known as Biodun Omoborty has joined her colleagues to mourn the death of veteran actor Quadri Oyebamiji Tolani popularly known as Sisi Quadri.
The death of Sisi Quadri took a toll on the industry when the news of his demise rocked the internet.
Accirdung to reports, Sisi Quadri died of kidney-related issues. The revelation was made known by blogger, Seun Oloketuyi via his Instagram page.
The actor’s untimely demise was announced by his colleague Tunde Olayusuf on Instagram and his other colleagues have followed suit with their condolences.
Biodun Omoborty made her pain known through her Instagram post where she lamented Quadri’s death. She is still in shock and in denial of his death.
On Instagram, the mother of two revealed that she cannot post Sisi Quadri’s photo because she believed it to be a stunt. She wrote about how she celebrated their birthday just few months ago.
Speaking about Sisi Quadri’s death, Biodun Okeowo compared his demise to a sunset at noon.
She wrote on Instagram, “Oh No! I can’t post your picture OMG! I celebrated you on our birthday!
Nooooo I can’t post that you’re gone. @iamsisiquadir please is this a stunt?
You can’t end it just like that
This is a sunset at noon
Sad!”
Veteran award winning actor Kunle Afolayan shared a photo of himself and Sisi Quadri on the set of Anikulapo, expressing shock over the actor’s death.
He revealed that he’s at a loss for words and he’s still trying to cope with Sisi Quadri’s death. He prayed that the vibrant actor rest in peace.
