Nigerian actor, Femi Adebayo has confirmed the Yoruba action epic Jagun Jagun Part 2 is now in development and will only be available on Netflix.
The movie’s producer disclosed this during a speech at AFRIFF 2023, which took place at the Lavida Pavilion of Sol Beach Mall on Victoria Island, Lagos state.
Remember that when Jagun Jagun was released back in August 2023, it became a smash hit with 2.1 million views in just one week and ranked on the top 10 non-English charts. The story tells of a young man who is determined to become a mighty warrior who joins an elite army, encountering the wrath of a maniacal warlord and the love of a woman.
In the part of one of Jagun Jagun features Lateef Adedimeji, Tope Adebayo, Adebowale Adedayo, Odunlade Adekola, Muyiwa Ademola, Bimbo Ademoye, Akinsanmi Adura, Kunle Afod, Ayobami Ajewole, Kola Ajeyemi, Bose Akinola, Olutayo Amokade, Dayo Amusa, Aderemi Anifowose, Fathia Balogun, Najeem Bamidele, and Babatunde Bangbode.
