A video making the rounds online has captured hilarious moment Nollywood actress Wumi Toriola taught her son, Zion, her indigenous language, Yoruba.
Wumi, known for her hit native movies like Queen Lateefah and a lot more, was spotted with her 4-year-old child as they decided to greet her fans on a Sunday morning, praying hard for them.
In the video, the movie star said her prayers in Yoruba and Zion imitated her in the same language, sparking reactions on internet.
The standout moment in the video was the pronounced intonations of Zion as he spoke in his indigenous language.
He said, “Ekaaro gbogbo eniyan, Eku Sunday ooni, emi a se opolopo. Gbogbo bo ba se je, Olorun a wa pelu wa. Gbogbo eyin ten gbawe, Olorun a wa pelu yii”.
Translating, “Good morning everyone, today’s Sunday, may we witness more. Whatever happens, God is with us. All of you that are fasting, God is with us”.
Social media users, who watched the video, could not stop laughing at the young boy’s accent when speaking Yoruba.
