Sometimes, not all celebrities marriage last, a lot end even before a year. The lucky ones actually live happily ever after, we have cases where celebrities broke up after a week or 2months of marriage. I have compiled a list of female celebrities that are single mothers.
1. Mercy Aigbe: The 42 years old Nollywood Actress was born on the 1st day of January, 1978. Mercy Aigbe got married to a Nigerian hotel owner named Lanre Gentry in 2013. She is blessed with two kids namely: MICHELLE AND JUWON GENTRY. In 2017, she took to social media to share some of her photos after she was assaulted by her husband. This domestic violence led to the divorce of these two and now she is a single mother.
She is taking care of her kids well on her own and they are doing perfectly well.
2. Iyabo Ojo: She is also a nollywood actress and a hot mother of two children namely; FESTUS AND PRISCILLA. Iyabo Ojo was once married to a Lagos-based movie marketer in 1999 when she was 21. These kids come from a broken home, she separated from her Husband and she is happily training her kids on her own.
3. Toyin Lawani: Our gorgeous Toyin Lawani (OAP) was involved in two different relationships that turned out badly. She produced two children from these relationships, she currently takes care of her kids on her own and they turns out great.
4. Tiwa Savage: Our very own Mama Jam Jam, our Mama Africa, she is a Nigerian singer and song writer. Tiwa Savage is also divorced after getting married to Tunji Teebillz Balogun, They both have a handsome son called Jamil, Tiwa Savage is doing her best to take care of her baby boy.
5. Sola Ogudu: She is Wizkid’s baby mama, they are not married but they both produced a son out of an affair. The handsome boy is called Boluwatife, he is very brilliant and so smart despite living with his mom.
6. Tonto Dikeh: She is a nollywood actress and also a beautiful single mother of a son named Andre Omodayo Churchill. She was married initially married to Oladunni Churchill but in 2017, they both broke up and went separate ways. Tonto Dikeh is taking care of her son alone, she acts as both the mother and father, she is obviously enjoying her motherhood as she is always seen gushing over her son.
7. Kate Henshaw: She is another Nollywood actress that is a single mother, she was initially married to a man names Roderick Nuttal before they divorced. They both gave birth to a beautiful daughter named Gabrielle Nuttal.
8. Anna Ebiere: She is an ex beauty queen, she once won Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria, in the year 2002. She had an affair with Flavour Nabania. This affair led to their beautiful baby girl named Sophia, Anna takes care of the baby.
9. Adunni Ade: Gorgeous Nollywood actress, Adunni Ade has two sons; D’Marion and Ayden. She revealed that after she made a difficult choice to break up with their father, she would continue being a single parent. It is a known fact that Adunni doesn’t joke with her boys as she adores them so much.
10. Yvonne Jegede: Yvonne Jegede in 2017 married her hubby Olakunle Fawole, aka Abounce, who is also an actor and the third and last child of the late broadcaster and actress, Bukky Ajayi. Her marriage which lasted a year produced a baby boy named Xavier.
