Nollywood actor Jamiu Azeez has taken to his social media page to appreciate his colleagues and fans for checking up on him after he cried out for depression.
The actor appreciated their love and support, cause it meant so much to him, he also apologized to his fans and family members who might have felt disappointed in him for crying out.
Jaimu_azeez said it was not really about depression but he want to give people and celebrities the courage to speak out during their difficult time.
He wrote “Feeling really down and sad is something many people go through. Sometimes, it’s hard to talk about because we worry what others might think. But it’s important to speak up, even if people don’t understand at first.
Being depressed isn’t something to be ashamed of. It’s like having a heavy cloud over you that won’t go away. But the good news is, talking about it can help. It’s like letting some of that cloud drift away.
So, if you’re feeling low, don’t keep it to yourself. Tell someone you trust—a friend, a family member, or a teacher. They might not have all the answers, but they can listen and support you.
And if you notice someone else seems down, reach out to them. Let them know you’re there to listen. Together, we can make talking about depression easier and help each other feel better.
